an AI powered IoT platform aiding
the agricultural ecosystem.

What is it :
Fasal records a variety of growing conditions on the farm. It uses artificial intelligence and data science to make on-farm predictions, before delivering the insights that matter to the farmers. Fasal monitors critical parameters 24x7x365 from a farm location and uploads them to Fasal’s cloud platform. The data is then analysed and presented, thus making the crop's health accessible to you anytime, anywhere on any device for data-driven decision-making.
Farm level data is then used by the prediction engine to predict the ideal growth conditions, resource requirements including irrigation, sprays, fertigation, and other preventive measures. Then, the farmer gets notified on his device and acts accordingly.
Founded by Ananda Verma and Shailendra Tiwari and headquartered in Bengaluru, Fasal claims to have over 100 farms and over 1000 farmers on-board in the horticulture belt of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. At present, it works with grapes, pomegranates, itrus fruits, chillies and peppers, and tomatoes.

Through their demand-driven B2B platform, they are enabling farmers to sell their crops directly to businesses at a better price.
Krishihub’s technology platform is enabling farmers to take data-driven decision in every stage of farming. Farmers across India now have access to location-specific crop information, weather forecast, mandi price, agri inputs, agri news and videos and other information in regional languages through mobile application.

an aquaculture technology venture.

Aquaconnect is a full-stack aquaculture technology venture that offers data-driven farm advisory solutions and marketplace solutions to shrimp and fish farmers. As a part of promoting sustainable farming practices in the aquaculture ecosystem, the company launched an Artificial Intelligence farm advisor mobile app 'FarmMOJO' - a friendly farm companion.
FarmMOJO's data intelligence improves farm productivity and connects farmers with aquaculture industry stakeholders. Aquaconnect works with about 3000 farmers in Indian states of Andhra, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat to improve their farm revenues through technology intervention.

Crofarm’s aim is to make a supply chain that supports farmers and provides businesses with the freshest produce in the most efficient manner. According to the website, it has over 10,000 farmers in its network and has partnered with Reliance Retail, Grofers, Big Basket, Jubilant Foodworks, Big Bazar and Metro Foods. The company procures products that have a longer shelf life from national sourcing zones and other products from regional sourcing zones.
It provides an effective solution to agriculture wastage caused during distribution and selling of farm produce. By building a digitised agri-supply chain for fruits and vegetables that is efficient and has zero wastage, it increases the incomes of both, farmers and neighbourhood retailers.

Indore-based Gramophone, started by IIT Kharagpur graduates Nishant Vats and Tauseef Khan, is a one-stop solution for all kinds of inputs on farming. The startup aids farmers via its toll-free helpline number - farmers can contact them by just giving a missed call and can get solutions to all farming-related problems.
They can also buy agricultural products such as seeds, crop protection equipment, etc, directly from the company’s m-commerce platform.
